"When harbingers of negativity have flocked together, a popular tendency since misery actually does love company..."

This is a beautiful paragraph! Resounding with truth that applies anywhere, and not just the adoption debate.

Keep ranting. You do a pretty decent job of it.

Fanatics do not bend or compromise. They do not admit when they are wrong. They also rarely carry the day. Lincoln had it right, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.

I'm not a bible thumper, but I vaguely remember a guy named A.A. Michael who thoroughly thumped a true bad guy and sent him where the sun doesn't shine. There are rewards for total puss buckets, its just that the rewards aren't nice.

Keep it up Sandra, the forces of good need to be heard. John

add in the snide and not-really-as-subtle-as-they-think digs at adoptive parenting adn it can take a strong and courageous person to stand up and say "Yes, I believe I can do this and have a positive outcome". Fortunately, many, many people are doing just that!

So to the anti's out there, I say you're only making yourselves look like bitter, angry, petty people and you are NOT stopping me or mine from adopting!
